2 Thessalonians 1:3

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

Getting to know the people of HBC

I had met Pastor through his wife's uncle regarding my music ministry at another church. When my first wife was in the hospital and dying, he ministered to me and her. I started attending and later joined after I met Mavis here and married her.

I started attending in 2003.

I have made friends with a lot of nice people there. I enjoy telling them jokes and laughing with them.

Friendly, able to serve the Lord in the church, and small enough to get to know everyone well.

II Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Not being able to do a lot anymore due to my age, I like to study the Scriptures and read books by Christian authors, work on gospel music to sing solos in church service and watch Cubs games.

Why did you want to save me, someone who is so unworthy?
