Lord's Supper

The Lord's Supper is a special time of worship where believers remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. As we partake of the bread and the cup, we reflect on His body broken for us and His blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins. This ordinance was given by Christ as a continual reminder of His love, grace, and the New Covenant we have through Him.

At Hazelgreen Baptist Church, the Lord's Supper is observed with reverence, gratitude, and self-examination, as instructed in Scripture (1 Corinthians 11:23–29). It is a meaningful opportunity for believers to worship the Lord, renew their focus on Christ, and proclaim His death until He comes again.

"This do in remembrance of Me." — Luke 22:19
