Our children’s Sunday School class recently had the opportunity to serve in a meaningful way by designing and creating keychains for the elders of our church. This small gift was a simple expression of love and appreciation for the wisdom, faithfulness, and example they provide.
Moments like this remind us that every generation plays an important role in the body of Christ. As our children learn to serve and give, they are also learning to value and honor those who have walked faithfully before them.
We are grateful for the elders of our church and the wisdom they share, and we are encouraged by the hearts of our young people who are learning what it means to serve others with Christlike love.
